2027 Senior Banner Photo Shoot Dates (at the Melbourne High School Gym):
• Wednesday, August 5, 2026 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Thursday, August 6, 2026 – 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Friday, August 21, 2026 – 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (This date should only be used as a last resort for students who are new to the district or were unable to attend one of the first two sessions.)
These photo sessions are for all Class of 2027 seniors who participate in athletics or band. Students should wear their official uniform and bring any props they would like included in their banner photo, such as musical instruments, footballs, basketballs, bats, gloves, wrestling gear, track equipment, trap shooting gear (where appropriate), cheer items, or other sport-specific equipment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Football
• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Baseball
• Softball
• Track & Field
• Cross Country
• Wrestling

The Arkansas Activities Association summer dead period is June 21, and runs through Sunday, July 5.
During this time, there can be no coach-athlete contact, workouts, practices, camps, or use of school athletic facilities. All facilities are closed.

The Melbourne School District is pleased to offer free summer meals for children through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) during Summer 2026. This program helps ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals while school is out of session.

We are going to postpone the fishing derby that is scheduled for today. Due to the possibility of thunderstorms during the middle of the derby. We are rescheduling it for Tuesday, April 14 from 4 - 6 PM.
