The Melbourne School District is pleased to announce that beginning Thursday, September 3, 2020, all Melbourne School students will receive free breakfast and lunch through December 31, 2020. This does not include additional items purchased in the cafeteria. This is made possible by a waiver provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Arkansas Department of Education.
It is still very important that each household complete and submit a free and reduced lunch application if you have not already done so. This application is available on the Melbourne Schools website, www.bearkatz.k12.ar.us and applications will also be sent home this week. These applications affect the amount of funding our district receives from various sources.
